Briony Cullin is a freelance digital marketer helping independent businesses in Glasgow.
I'm reliable, professional and passionate. I have a range of services including SEO, social media and strategy.
I worked for Yelp Glasgow for 3.5 years as Community Manager, hosting events with local businesses for a community of influencers. Here's just a handful of the events I arranged in that time:
13,000 RSVPs on Facebook
9 local businesses, 600 attendees on the day, press coverage from STV News, Glasgow Live, Glasgow Living, The Scottish Sun, The Scotsman, The Evening Times as well as blogger coverage.
#CheeseToastieFest trended on twitter on the day in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Bringing together the delicious food of Ocho, hungry Yelpers and their cameras/mobiles phones, we had a masterclass in food photography guided by a professional photographer – and then dived into delicious plates of food. This event was the perfect opportunity to showcase a new business on social media. We followed up with a facebook competition for best photo of the night, generating a week's worth of additional promotion of Ocho.
7 businesses sent their best bartender to McPhabbs for a cocktail battle judged by 30 Yelpers. Featuring Blythswood Square, Porter & Rye, The Finnieston, McPhabbs, The Atlantic, Hard Rock Cafe and The Trading House, it was a fun way of showcasing an amazing line-up of businesses (and drinks) to our judges as well across social media.
